We are all busy as we live in a new era where everything around us now travels at terabyte speeds and time is not our friend. It is not forgiving, it won’t give you anymore than you have and it can take it away at any moment. Now enough sad talk. With how limited our time is, we all need to find slots in our day to save a little of that precious time for ourselves. I know it seems like there isn’t enough of it, but I promise if you manage it right, you can always find an hour a day for yourself.
During this hour you can do anything you want, but whatever you choose to do, make sure it is something that will make you happy and healthy. Whether during that hour you hit the gym hard and release stress, meditate, do yoga, or just find a quiet place to unwind, it is important to find that time for yourself. Stress is one of those bullies that will beat you down, making you feel terrible and won’t go away until you stand up for yourself and take control of your life. One way to do this is by setting aside that hour once a day for you.
So let’s do this, write out your average day by the half hour block and see what you come up with. I bet you can find a free hour whether in the morning, at lunch, or at night. It is there, you just need to find a way to create it. Get creative if you need to. If your schedule is that busy that you can’t find one hour, start with a half hour. I promise within a week of doing this, you will find the benefit and eventually find a way to block out an hour. Now go ahead and do you. For once, focus on yourself. Do what will make you happy!
